I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming solo violin recital with Randy on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Balai Resital Kertanegara. This special performance will be a journey through some of the greatest works in the violin repertoire—pieces that have challenged me, inspired me, and shaped my growth as a musician.
🎶 The Program
The recital will open with Mozart’s Violin Sonata in G major, K. 301, a beautifully balanced dialogue between violin and piano, full of elegance and Classical charm. From there, we’ll venture into the fiery brilliance of Paganini’s Caprice No. 24, a legendary test of technical mastery.
The program continues with Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole (1st movement), a work brimming with Spanish color and passion, and Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen, a beloved showcase of Gypsy-inspired lyricism and virtuosity.
After a short intermission, we’ll explore the earthy, vibrant spirit of Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, followed by the rhythmic energy of Falla’s Danse Espagnole in Kreisler’s arrangement. The afternoon will close with the grandeur and lyricism of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64—a cornerstone of the Romantic violin repertoire.
